Podere Le Chiastre is easy to reach: we are at a strategic point, in full mountain but only 10 km from the motorway and just minutes from the train station!

We are in Valtaro a corner in Emilia  between Tuscany and Liguria, in the municipality of Berceto, one of the oldest villages grew around the Apennines Benedictine abbey in the seventh century and crossed by Via Francigena.

 

Surrounded by Parma Apennines, the Chiastre is located in the production zone of Parmigiano Reggiano, rich aromas and scents of the mountains ever present in the tasty cuisine Apennines.

 

 

 



BY CAR: Highway A15 Parma-La Spezia exit Berceto.

Arrived in the village square turn right past the park and arrive at the crossing on the SS 62 (CISA).
Turn left and go to Parma to the height of Monte Marino, where you turn left towards Pagazzano.
From this point follow the wooden signs to  farm Chiastre, turn to left twice, down the valley, and finally on the right.
